Kids see people on phones. They want their own. But we much prefer the limits of a Yoto.
Why not allow both, with a "phone" for kids that's actually just a slim Yoto? Obviously the appeal would be for bigger kids (9+ maybe).
Pixel screen could be bigger or just a small part of the "phone" front.
Headphone jack as usual, charger port as on V2, at bottom of the phone.
Little buttons at side to switch tracks and do volume.
Cards would need to be a little less obvious; maybe they go in farther. Or it can buffer more cards and have a way to switch between whatever's in memory.
Sell interesting cases with a few more patterns.
If we had this, it could keep our kids doing yoto longer. Especially as we load homeschool content onto cards.
