We hear all these lovely birthday wishes and my kids always lose their minds when they hear someone who is the same age with a similar name, or a sibling name or a town in England that's a town in the US.
It would be really neat for kids to connect and send messages to each other like an old fashioned pen pal. I think it'd be really helpful for kids 5+ to talk about favorite cards, what they do for school, what the weather is. Just like an old fashioned pen pal. Yoto could offer prompts so that way a parent could help a child record a message.
It could be fun for kids who are bilingual or trying to be, too.
