I’m a nurse practitioner who works with a large geriatric population. Many are lacking connectivity in their daily life: interpersonally and culturally. I recently had a patient grieve over the loss of her ability to listen to classical radio. My reaction was! We can solve this - you just use digital streaming.. But in reality, it is a difficult problem for those who don’t use smartphones (she was >100 years old). But…what if there was a Yoto for Adults? Imagine how her world could open up if you sold a device with a caregiver account so people could rent or purchase a device and help set up her cards: a card for the classical station from her hometown, streaming 24/7; a card for her favorite audiobooks, a card for live Catholic mass, whatever.
