I teach 3rd grade (8/9 years old) and this is a book series that they have loved for years! This pack became a great "gateway" into the Yoto by bringing a well loved book to life. The additional sound effects made it even more fun. They love following along with the graphic novels. The card has true facts sprinkled in about both narwhals and jellyfish as well!
My niece (3 years old) also loved this card, and she hadn't seen the books before. Without the pictures she still was able to follow the story. The different voices for each character was especially helpful.
On my adult ears, the voices are a bit annoying. But my students think they're "soo cute!!" The cards are only about 10 minutes each, so not the end of the world if I have to sit through one as well.
