I am interested in calming cards - so previewed Magical Bedtime Meditation. However the warnings about hypnosis in the description gave me pause. When does mindful, breathing-controlled, meditative audio such as this one become hypnotic? Is there dangers associated if it does? Would other calming mindful audio cards also be considered hypnotic? I am woefully uneducated on this and wondered if someone has some expertise on this subject and can enlighten me? Here is the warning on this card:
“Included in this is Mindfulness Bedtime Meditation for Children, a guided meditation written and recorded by experienced hypnotherapists. The audio has been professionally recorded to a very high standard and includes soothing, angelic music to heighten all feelings of calm and relaxation. The best bit? Adults can listen, too!
Important: do not listen to hypnosis recordings whilst driving or operating heavy machinery.
