Gen 2 Charger Issues

If anybody else is failing to get Yoto to hear their concerns about replacement chargers for Gen 2 players, post here!

I am so disappointed with customer service. Our Yoto works absolutely perfectly, I was able to test it out on a relative’s charger. Unfortunately the charger cannot be replaced, so if I wish to allow my daughter to continue to enjoy her Yoto cards and radio, I need to spend another £50 on a Gen 3 and dispose of the existing one. Not very sustainable, Yoto, and you’ve sold thousands of people a product which has no longevity and is no longer fit for purpose (with chargers which were, anecdotally, rubbish anyway!)

I’m interested to know whether communication was actually sent warning consumers of the discontinuation of the charger? I have contacted BBC Watchdog to investigate this so if anybody else is affected I’d be keen to know. Thanks!
