I made an app called Backyard Birds as part of the Yoto Hackathon. You can instantly listen to one of the cards from birding hotspots on the homepage, or sign in to generate your own personalized card from your location
Notes: It takes while a while to generate (~5 minutes) because it needs to look up recently sighted birds, find their songs & calls, and give a fun voice to your bird facts. Once you've generated a card you can listen and share it with others. BYB is definitely in the very early stages and has many bugs (some birds would think of these as snacks), so I'd appreciate any feedback
Privacy: your location is shared anonymously with eBird to get birds recently seen near you, but the data isn't associated with you or stored anywhere
