Make Your Own is Yoto’s way of letting you create your own unique cards. As well as being an awesome way to listen to your own original creations, they can also do a couple of other magic and useful things too. In this post we’ll give a quick rundown of the parts that make it all work and some of the things you can do.
What makes Make Your Own
The Yoto App: the MYO tab is the control centre and where you manage playlists and link cards
The Make Your Own Maker Page: this is where you upload audio and add pixel art to your playlists (which is very fun and really easy), you can access this directly from the app or from a computer
The audio: this is either something you’ve created yourself or that you’ve purchased
Make Your Own cards: the physical cards that are linked to your playlists and content
Things you can do
Create your own recordings (stories, music, jokes..whatever takes your fancy) and put them onto Make Your Own cards
Listen to these cards in the Yoto App or link them to physical cards
Create share links of your own audio so your family or friends can hear your creations
Create cards from audio you’ve purchased online
Create back-up cards of titles you have purchased from Yoto. For those times when they fall down the side of the couch or car seat
Link cards to thousands of Podcasts and Radio streams available online
