Here are three tip-tips from the team at Yoto behind our Baking With Yoto card.

1. Ingredient treasure hunt
The fun starts with the list of ingredients (think of it as a treasure hunt). Record one track per ingredient so that the audio stops and your child has the time to go and get it. Don't forget to read out the amount needed. This is great to practice maths together ;)
2. Simon says
Once you've recorded all your ingredient tracks, get started on the instructions. Again, a track per instruction. Say if your child might need an adult's help in any of them.
3. Get creative
And finally, get your child involved in choosing an icon for each track and in decorating the card. You could also pick out the recipes to record together!
