For those of you who don’t live in London, but do live in an urban environment, there are nature reserves, community gardens and wildlife conservation centres in many cities and towns. You could search for family days in your locality.Â
Some people who have inspired me in my interests in green cities are writer and audio producer Stephanie Foo, scientist and writer Dr Robin Wall Kimmerer and artist and writer Jenny Odell.
These are writers who write mostly for adults, but their perspectives and stories are very valuable, so I wanted to mention them here.
