A day of creativity and imagination for little ears
At Yoto, we believe in the power of storytelling and the joy of independent play, and we’re excited to be partnering with the Sydney Writers’ Festival. On Sunday, 25 May, from 10am to 4pm, come visit us at Carriageworks (Bays 22–24) and inspire your child's imagination and creativity.
Whether your little one is a young listener or a seasoned book lover, our peaceful Yoto area will offer something for all ears. At our Yoto space, you’ll have the chance to explore Yoto Players and Yoto Minis, all to be enjoyed with headphones, and discover a wide range of audio stories for children of all ages.
From the beloved The Very Hungry Caterpillar to the timeless adventure of The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, we’re featuring everything from classic tales to modern favourites like Tabby McTat and The Highway Rat—all to inspire the next generation of storytellers!
What’s in store?
Our space is designed to encourage independent listening, where children will be invited to sit, listen, and immerse themselves in the world of storytelling—completely offline, so they can enjoy the experience without any distractions.
A gift for all
As part of our celebration of storytelling and creativity, every child will receive a special gift bag, perfect for sparking even more creativity once the stories have ended.
Join us!
This event is open to the public as part of the Sydney Writers’ Festival, so whether you're attending the festival or just passing by, we’d love to see you there. The event will be supported by our wonderful volunteers, who are trained to help guide children through the experience and ensure everyone has a memorable time.
