Turn Yoto Cards into mini adventures 🌟

As we edge ever closer to the summer holidays here in the UK, we’re looking for screen-free ways to keep the kids entertained.

And it got us thinking—could their favourite Yoto Cards provide some inspiration for real-life mini adventures? For example:

If they’ve been listening to BrainBots: Wildlife Defenders

Create a wildlife “bingo card” with birds, insects and other animals that are native to your local area. Then grab your comfy shoes, head out on a nature walk and play this wildlife-inspired “I spy”.

To get you started, here's one we made earlier (local creatures may vary):

If they’ve been listening to Phonics: Letters & Sounds

Open up your Yoto App and let your child record sounds from their day-to-day. Maybe the sound of the bath running? Or your family cat purring on their lap? Once done, you can put it all on a ‘Make Your Own’ Card, and ✨ta-dah ✨—they’ve made a “What’s that sound?” guessing game.

If they’ve been listening to My First 100 Words

Pick a language from this card, and spend a day teaching them about the culture. You could listen to a radio station from another country, or take them to a restaurant that serves food from that place.

What about the cards your kids are loving right now? Which mini adventures could they inspire? Share your ideas with other parents below 👇
