Coming soon to the Yoto App: new Club filters

Yoto Club subscribers have been asking for more ways to filter the Club collection - the 200+ cards that come with all Yoto Club subscriptions.

Well, you asked for it… we’re working on it!

We're preparing a new filtering and sorting experience for Club subscribers that will be part of the 3.33 beta release on iOS, before launching for all Yoto App users (iOS and Android) in a few weeks.

Here’s Niamh, our Tech Lead for Content Discovery, on what you can expect:

Club subscribers will be able to filter the collection by age, category, author and yes, language!

In fact, the collection will be automatically filtered to the device language upon opening. Plus, we'll hide content that's already in the library to make it easier to discover new card.

We're also adding new sort options, including newest first and length ascending/descending, so it's easier to find the right content at the right moment.

Club filters are now available to try for iOS users via Testflight

Now for the exciting part: if you’re an iOS user subscribed to Yoto Club and you’re signed up our beta tester program via Testflight, you can update to version 3.33 from today to give these new filters a try!

The Android version is in development, and will be available on general release.

What is a beta program?

A beta program gives you early access to features that are still in development, so you can try them out and give your feedback ahead of general release. Please note that this means that the beta version of the Yoto App might not always work as expected. You can always leave the program to return to a stable version of the app. Learn more about the Yoto beta programs.

Preparing for general release

If you aren’t an iOS user or don’t want to join the beta program, no problem! There won’t be long to wait to use these filters for yourself when the feature is added for general release.

Please note that you will soon be able to update the Yoto App to version 3.33 However, even if you update to 3.33, if you aren’t part of the iOS beta program, you may not see the new Club filters immediately.
