Once Upon A Time, And Then...The End

Listen and add to your library

Check story comprehension in this fun activity set to lo-fi beats! We'll be drawing the beginning, middle, and end of a story you've read or listened to. This works with picture or chapter books, decodable reading passages, you name it. You can even do this after listening to a Yoto card!

Requires NO reading or writing ability, so perfect for mixed aged groups like a 4 year old and a 12 year old. Older kids can add extra details like labeling characters and using dialogue from the story. Attached reference guide includes examples and two styles of worksheets - one for just drawing, and a more advanced style that includes space for writing a descriptive sentence for each section.

(The card art is absolutely a cheeky imitation of Jake's Yoto Daily image, using a photo of our resident 3 year old - Little Sharky)
