WhatsApp Voice Message

This app is currently closed to new registrations while we review issues raised in initial feedback.

Please 'follow' this post by pressing the bell button below to be notified of future updates.

An app that lets family members send voice notes to a Yoto card, which your child can listen to whenever they want.

How it works

  1. Sign up to the app

  2. Add your phone number (make sure this is your WhatsApp phone number)

  3. You'll get a WhatsApp message from Yoto sent to this number

  4. Reply with a voice note

  5. A playlist called "Yoto Labs Messenger" will be created in your account

  6. Link that playlist to a card, you only have to do this once.

You can then keep sending voice notes to that number via WhatsApp, which are automatically added to that playlist which is linked to a Yoto card. When your child plays that card on their Yoto Player, they can hear your messages.

You can also let other family members send voice notes by adding their number in the app.

❌ not currently available for new registrations

Use case

It allows parents to stay in touch with their children while they’re away from home — on a work trip, military service or for other reasons. Kids can listen to the messages screen-free.

We're aware that many of you have reported issues, so to prevent further frustration, we're removing the registration link for now while the team investigates how to improve your experience.
