Count down the sleeps until your exciting day with Calendee for Yoto!
Head to https://www.calendeeforyoto.com to begin!
Instructions
1) On the cards tab, create a card. This will be the name of the card on when you navigate to Playlists on the Yoto app.
2) Optionally, edit the card to add your child's name. This will personalize the countdown to include your child's name! You may also add multiple names such as "Avery and Tessa" if the card is to be shared by multiple children.
3) On the events tab, create an event. Name the event the way you want it to be spoken.
4) Click 'Update Card' when all changes are complete. (See below for more information on this)
5) Use the Yoto App to connect a MYO card to the digital Calendee card, which will automatically appear in the ‘Playlist’ page on the Yoto app.
6) The best part - let your little one insert the card and jump with joy as they count down the days until their birthday, a holiday, or anything they’re excited about! The countdown will start at most 45 days before the event.
6) Events will now be automatically deleted after the event passes. For now, you can add two events to a card!

Technical:
Why do you need to update the card manually? To keep it brief, to keep costs down. This app is only possible with AI, which can get expensive. By clicking the button, the audio will only be generated once when all new events are added and edits are completed. But don't worry if you forget - it will automatically be updated at midnight regardless!

Bugs:
(April 24, 2026) Fixed missing "age" field when birthday theme is selected. Please edit your birthday events to add the child's age.
(April 22, 2026) The cards can now be played on both the Yoto player and the app!
Data storage:
The following data is automatically stored: user's timezone, Yoto authorization token and refresh token. Data is stored in a Mongo Database. Adding your name and email to your profile is completely optional.
