Count down the sleeps until your exciting day with Calendee for Yoto!

Instructions
1) Create a card. Select a name that represents the person who will be using the card.
2) Create an event. Name the event the way you want it to be read.
3) Use the Yoto App to connect a MYO card to the digital Calendee card, which will automatically appear in the ‘Playlist’ page on the Yoto app.
4) The best part - let your little one insert the card and jump with joy as they count down the days until their birthday, Christmas, or anything they’re excited about!
5) After the event has passed, delete it and add a new exciting event to count down to!

(Nov 17, 2025) The Christmas theme has launched! This countdown features Christmas-y messages, your child's name and is voiced by the old man himself! 😉
(Oct 22, 2025) Our first theme has launched! Select the 'birthday' theme, for more customization! Add your child's name and the age they will be turning. The countdown will include cake, candles, wishes and more!
(Oct 22, 2025) New visual icon display option: rather than numbers, the visual display shows a fully orange screen when there are more than 64 days until the event. As we get closer, blocks will disappear, helping your child better understand how much longer they still have to wait.
(Oct 19, 2025) Now you can hear and see the countdown! Icons have been added! The number of days remaining will now appear on the Yoto display! Be sure to check back again soon, as we work out some bugs and more features go live!

Bugs:
Calendee is experiencing issues when on Safari mobile. If you have an iPhone, please try to access from a desktop, laptop or other browser while we work on a solution.

Technical Information:
You can create up to four cards with one event on each. Your timezone is automatically stored when you first log in, so your events will automatically update at midnight in your timezone. Note that if you travel, there may be a discrepancy as a result.
Data storage
The following data is automatically stored: user's timezone, Yoto authorization token and refresh token. Data is stored in a Mongo DB, hosted in Mongo DB.
Final Words
It's hard to believe that in under two months, we created a web app from nothing - in the late hours after work, or once the kids have gone to bed for the night. There are still bugs to find and improvements to make, but we've come a long way! We appreciate every person who has let us know about an issue they've come across so we can work on bettering the app. We also love to hear your ideas about features to add! We have a big vision for this app, and we can't way to share it with you!
