User information
Open Yoto.fm then log in to your Yoto account. Enter your location and generate your own personalized Yoto card with stories, icons, bird songs, and more!
Technical information
BYB is built using Elixir, OpenAI (to generate scripts), ElevenLabs (to narrate stories), and uses eBirds, Xeno-Canto, and OpenStreetMaps behind the scenes
Data storage
BYB requests the user's location, but does not store this information anywhere outside of Yoto once the card is generated
The only data persisted is a cache of bird information (names, scripts, MP3s, icons, etc) and the associated Yoto Media IDs (to avoid re-uploading)
