Just discovered these books with my book-loving almost-3yo; the series would be such a great fit for young kids who enjoy Frog & Toad, Mercy Watson, Alfie, Topsy & Tim, etc. Perfect combination of calm, sweet, and a few funny twists. The author also wrote the Henry and Mudge series, which I loved as a kid.
