Please YOTO, add cards that normalise LGBTQ+ families! There are so many age-appropiate books that broach the topics of queer parents, family members, weddings, conflict, even conception. Queer families, and allies (!!), deserve to have this content available. A lot of the content available doesn't necessarily teach about queer identities or sexualities, it just acknowledges that they exist and that it is a normal and positive thing. As an aunt of two girls, I want to gift them cards that tell them something about me and help start that conversation. Cards that can help their parents (who have already asked me to recommend queer cards for the girls) continue the conversation when I'm not there and ensure the whole family leads with love.
