I would like a notation on each yoto card product page clearly indicating if the card is an abridged or unabridged version of the classic novel. I’ve bought too many yoto cards thinking my 10 year old would be exposed to some of the advanced language, themes and complexities of classic stories only to find that they’ve been rewritten and, in some bases, totally butchered. There’s definitely a place for abridged versions of stories and I’m not saying I wouldn’t buy them. I’d just like the option to have more unabridged versions and to be able make an informed choice about which cards best suit the reading/listening level of my different kids’ ages.
