Below is our script to the timeless fairytale The Three Little Pigs.
These are free for you to use in your own cards and creations.
Some helpful tips:
Read it through a few times to get an idea of the pacing and how the story develops
If you decide to read it with other people then copy and paste the text into a new document and mark in different colours the areas for each narrator or character

Here are two read-throughs that you can use as a guide to pacing and style, if helpful, but you can also drop in elements of the audio into your version. One is a male voice, in a British accent, the other is a female voice with a US accent.
A few tips:
Copy the read throughs into your audio editor (e.g. GarageBand) as new tracks and in a new channel read along after short sections and mimic the pacing and phrasingโฆor of course, find your own style
If you do combine elements from these with your own voice try not to flip between voices too much or too fast as it can confuse the listener
Keeps the volume levels of your recording and these as close to each other as you can
Try using music or sound effects elements to bridge areas where a new narrator enters, and feel free to leave a little time for them to come in, this can help build anticipation and excitement for the listener
If you give this a try, let us know in the comments how you get on - and share any tips of your own too!
